The works found here in The Vault are a selection of short films, documentaries, live events and miscellaneous side projects produced, directed and created by W. Alex Reeves while a student at Allegheny College in northwestern Pennsylvania. While some of these projects were prompted by class assignment, much of the work was developed outside of the classroom as a result of personal and professional endeavors.
Originally under the name WAR Pictures, W. Alex Reeves began his collection of work after producing his first video project “The Red Star” in high school. Throughout his undergraduate years, Alex developed his skills along with his portfolio. Upon graduating, he moved to Los Angeles where he has continued to grow his repertoire for a number of production companies including his own Red Arc Pictures. All of the work produced for Red Arc is a product of the collaboration between W. Alex Reeves, his friends and his colleagues. It is also a direct result of the passion and constant desire to tell stories through the lens of the camera.
